Here it is...the "PLAN"

Bare with me "followers"...this is a lengthy post. I have a plan to implement this inquiry.  I should conclude the project in March 2011 and I can't wait to get great results! This is a plan, and you all know how some plans turn out - so it is a somewhat flexible plan.  This is the end of January, so the ball is already rolling.  The reasoning behind most of these dates is mainly due to when the students will be reading novels in the freshman and senior classes. Also, these novels that the students will be reading are the ones that can be downloaded for FREE (for example, freshman students will begin Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet in March 2010).  As these dates approach and I accomplish what is on this timeline, I will continue to post and keep all of you up-to-date on how the project is going.  Take a look and let me know what you all think.

  1. Julie-
I am so impressed with the structure and detail of your plan. I also appreciate the fact that you identified many challenges and are aware that there are challenges you will face. You chose such a beneficial research project though. I look forward to following your blog and your research! Good luck!

  2. One of the biggest challenge I see for you is the second one where the classroom teachers actually have to monitor the students using the devices. HOpefully you have a group of teachers that are willing to work with you. SOmetimes as teachers we find it tedious to have to check for dresscode violators etc. Just try a develop a system that will ease the extra effort of monitoring for you.
THis is a great plan and very much in tune with today's technological use in the classroom.
